Park Shelter Reservations

Please Note: Park shelter reservations for April - October 2009 will begin March 2.

Picnic shelters may be reserved in Heritage Oak Park, Pine Hill Lakes Park, and the new Mason Sports Park. Heritage Oak Park Shelter 1 has seating for up to 60 people and Shelter 2 can seat up to 80 people. The Pine Hill Lakes Park shelter below the dam can seat 30 people. The Mason Sports Park offers two new shelters. Shelter 1 can seat up to 40 people and is on a first come, first serve basis. Shelter 2 holds up to 70 people and can be reserved as of April 19, 2008.

Only City of Mason residents may reserve the shelters for use between April 1 and October 31. Proof of residency such as a driver's license and a copy of a utility bill is required. Reservations must be made in person at the City of Mason Municipal Center. There is no reservation or deposit fee. The person making the reservation is responsible for cleaning the shelter after use. (You may be billed for cleanup and future reservations could be denied if the shelter is not cleaned up.) Shelters not reserved may be used on first come, first serve basis.

Alcoholic beverages are not permitted in any City of Mason parks.

Please call the Parks & Recreation Department at 513-229-8550 or stop at the Mason Municipal Center if you have questions about booking a shelter.
