How’s the weather?

The City of Mason staff uses the following guidelines for determining how the Mason Community Center will operate during bad weather.

If Mason City Schools are on a 2-hour delay:
All scheduled programs and activities will generally run as scheduled, unless an instructor cannot make it in.

If Mason City Schools are cancelled due to bad weather:
All programs that begin before 4:00 p.m. will be canceled except for "Snow Days" Day Camp. Weather conditions will be evaluated and a determination for evening classes will be made before 3 p.m. Notices will be posted to the web and to the weather hotline.

The facility will be closed only in severe weather or other emergencies.

Ball games and other programs held in the parks will depend on the weather and field conditions. If in doubt, please check the hotline.

City of Mason hotline: 513-229-8502

Option 5 - Program and facility delays, cancellations, closings
Option 6 - Park and ballfield rainouts
Option 7 - Manta Rays swim team information
