The City of Mason has a master plan for future city parks. The city has 301 acres of developed parkland and about 180 acres yet to be developed. The sites that are included in the master plan are:

Each of the sites offers a unique setting and landscape features that, recognized and celebrated, will help to develop unique places that capture citizen interest and make them enjoyable places to be or go to for specific activities. Implementation of the plan will take place over many years.
